ABOUT

The Center for Rehabilitation Research was established in 1976, with the aim of developing and improving quality of life for people with disabilities, and to enable them to take an active part in the community. The Center serves as a focal point of information for rehabilitation techniques and treatment programs in the rehabilitation services in Israel. The Center is striving to develop new approaches and innovative intervention practices to influence government policy and policymakers. Improving the responses available for the special needs of people with disabilities will lead to their empowerment in the State of Israel.

OBJECTIVES

The main objective is to develop rehabilitation services and unique projects for people with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. The center is striving to investigate and develop new approaches and to promote government policy in order to empower people with disabilities and to improve the responses they receive for their needs.
